Paula Deck is the Strategic Account Executive for Red Cross Training Services in Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Northwest and Southwest Iowa since 2018.  She is responsible for promoting, consulting, and selling American Red Cross training solutions, AEDs, AED management programs, and training and preparedness supplies to companies, organizations, healthcare systems, colleges and universities, and schools to help them build and maintain a world class safety and emergency response program that prepares people to respond to emergencies and save lives with confidence and skill based on the latest and best emergency science.   

Since 1909, American Red Cross Training Services has provided best-in-class safety training and certification and offers innovative and flexible training solutions to meet the needs of every industry. Proceeds from Red Cross training support the life-saving mission of the American Red Cross, including disaster relief, blood collection and services to the Armed Forces.   

Paula previously worked in the pharmaceutical wholesale distribution industry.  She holds a BA in English with a minor in Business Administration from Washington State University, and a MS in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Creighton University.  She lives in Glenwood, IA, with her husband.  Their son is a senior at Iowa State University.  Paula is a certified Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor, and she enjoys reading, writing, and camping with family and friends. 

Tammy Lee is the Executive Director for the Northwest Iowa and Northeast Nebraska Chapter of the American Red Cross.  Her primary area of responsibility is to work with leadership volunteers and community partners across 33 counties in northwest Iowa and northeast Nebraska to ensure support for and delivery of the Red Cross mission.

Tammy’s service with the American Red Cross began in 1991 while a college student, volunteering as a CPR and First Aid instructor in Waterloo, Iowa.  She completed her BA in Leisure Services and MA in Non-Profit Administration at the University of Northern Iowa and joined the Red Cross full-time in 1995 as manager of the Health and Safety department in Mason City, Iowa.  Tammy became a member of the Siouxland Area Chapter (Sioux City, IA) staff in 1999 first to manage health and safety program, then as the Assistant Executive Director.  Tammy took on the role of Executive Director in 2007.
