We are joined this week with our Preventive Health Specialist, Chase Funk. We go over stretches that would be very beneficial for working out, field workers, and even those in the office. 

A static stretch is when your muscles are extended and held for a certain amount of time. A dynamic stretch is when you are moving your muscles in an active matter. A static stretch is not ideal before workouts due to elongating those muscles. When force is later applied you're not able to withstand as much force.
