Derek Hale, CSP, CIT is a Sr. Principal Consultant for The LOTO Group, a safety consulting firm assisting clients in their path toward safety excellence with a focus on arc flash analysis, infrared thermography, lockout tagout procedure creation, and training. Previously, Derek has served the construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, and utilities sectors. He graduated Columbia Southern University with a degree in Business and Occupational Safety & Health. When he is not teaching NFPA70E Electrical Safe Work Practice across the US he is in Youngstown, Ohio enjoying some of the best food in the country.
